Biography
Mehdi Mirzaei was a 23-year-old barber from Arak who resided in Tehran. He was killed on January 8, 2026, by a gunshot to the heart. He was an only child and the guardian of his mother. After his death, security forces pressured his family to declare him a Basiji, a claim his mother refused to accept despite threats, insisting on his true identity.
مهدی میرزایی، آرایشگری ۲۳ ساله اهل اراک و ساکن تهران بود. او در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در تهران و با شلیک مستقیم به قلب کشته شد. او تکفرزند و سرپرست مادرش بود. پس از کشته شدن او، نهادهای امنیتی خانوادهاش را تحت فشار قرار دادند تا او را «بسیجی» اعلام کنند، اما مادرش با وجود تهدیدها از پذیرش این روایت اجباری خودداری کرد.
